PCM (Protection Circuit Module)

Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, which dominate the secondary battery, are widely used in various applications, including mobile phones, laptops, power tools, and energy storage systems (ESS). However, the chemical instability of lithium-ion cells can pose significant risks, such as fires and explosions, when exposed to air or moisture.

  • Overcharge Protection: Automatically halts charging when the voltage surpasses safe thresholds.
     

  • Over-discharge Protection: Prevents discharge when the voltage falls below the established sage limit.

  • Control IC (Integrated Circuits), Microcontroller, FET (Field-Effect Transistor) for switching, Thermistor for temperature sensing, PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) resistors, Fuse
